Restitution in Child Pornography Cases
A new aspect to a child pornography charge is the possibility that you will be ordered to pay restitution to any child whose image was the subject of the charges. Under Fed Ct. 18 USC Sec. 2259 A, anyone who possesses, distributes or produces a pornographic image of a child will be ordered to pay restitution to that child for damages and costs related to the impact of his or her involvement.
